1. Who we are

This website, www.mdbaudio.com (“the Site”), is operated by MDB Audio (“we”, “us”, “our”), a recording studio based in Portugal. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Site.

2. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Site. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server, or any data connected to it.

3. Accounts and Google Sign-In

Some features of the Site may allow you to sign in or connect using your Google account (Google OAuth). When you do so:

  • You authorise us to access only the specific Google account information described in the consent screen shown by Google.
  • We use that information solely to provide the requested feature (for example, identifying you and syncing data you have chosen to sync), as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You may revoke this access at any time from your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Bookings, purchases and payments

Where the Site allows you to purchase products or services or to book studio time, prices and conditions are indicated at the time of purchase. All payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store your full payment card details. Specific terms communicated to you at the time of a booking or purchase (such as cancellation conditions) form part of these Terms.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including text, images, audio, video, logos and design — is owned by or licensed to MDB Audio and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written permission.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (including Google services). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties, and linking does not imply endorsement.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MDB Audio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Portuguese or EU law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect and process personal data, including data received from Google when you use Google Sign-In.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the Site after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Portuguese courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
